I'm the Founder and Executive Director of Office Hours College Prep, where I help students discover who they are, develop their intellectual strengths, and build applications that reflect real academic purpose.
My background spans K–12 education, university teaching, and educational research — I see my students as developing scholars, not just applicants. My approach pairs rigorous academic mentorship with a genuine understanding of how people learn, so students walk away with more than a strong application: they build confidence, curiosity, and the habits of independent thinkers.
I'm currently a Ph.D. candidate in Language and Literacy at UC Berkeley, where my research focuses on language, literacy, and how people learn. I hold dual bachelor's degrees in English and Linguistics from Berkeley, completed a literacy fellowship at the University of Oxford, and earned a Master of Science in Learning Sciences and Human Development — also from Berkeley. I also teach undergraduate literacy and education courses in Berkeley's School of Education with Professors Laura Sterponi and Glynda Hull.
Over the past five years, I've guided students into admission at Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Oxford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and others. But outcomes aren't really the point — what I care about most is helping students develop a clear sense of intellectual identity, purpose, and fit.
